Guidelines and Instructions

Welcome to the Aggie Scholarship Application Portal (ASAP). Applications for 2024-2025 scholarship opportunities will open on February 1, 2024. Applications for Financial Aid scholarships will close on March 15, 2024.

To get started, please sign in with your Aggie OneID (Aggie email without @aggies.ncat.edu) and Password. You must be admitted to the University to receive your OneID and Password. You will use the first part of the OneID for your user name and the password (if you haven’t reset it) is the first four of the OneId and the last four of the banner ID number.

*First-Time Users: *
Once you have logged in, you will be prompted to fill out a brief general application. This portal will allow students consideration for scholarships across campus. Unless otherwise noted, applicants must be admitted to a degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate program and enrolled full-time during the academic year.

All Users:
The fully completed general application is the only form a student has to fill out to be considered for opportunities that are designated as “auto-match”. These opportunities have pre-determined qualifiers in place that allow the system to automatically match applicants to these opportunities. Additional opportunities that are noted with “apply” in the Action column will require supplemental information from the applicant in order for an application to be considered. If you click on the name of the opportunity, the system will show the additional information/questions that have to be answered/provided in order to apply for this opportunity. Please keep in mind completing an application does not guarantee funding.

To view a list of opportunities for which an applicant may be eligible, please visit the Recommended Opportunities page on the applicant dashboard, review the opportunities and their requirements, and complete any supplemental questions or requirements.

Additional opportunities may become available after the general application has been completed. It is your responsibility to check the Aggie Scholarship Application Portal frequently for additional scholarships that may become available.

Note for the 2024-2025 academic year application cycle: There are additional scholarship opportunities available within specific colleges and departments. Please check with your specific department for instructions on applying to those.
